If you’re searching for a plasterer in Torquay or Torbay, chances are you want a clean, smooth finish that will stand the test of time. Whether you’re renovating, fixing damaged walls, or preparing for decorating, professional plastering makes all the difference.

At ACR Plastering Ltd, we specialise in delivering high-quality finishes that not only look great but also add value to your property.

Why Professional Plastering Matters

A proper plastering job isn’t just about making walls look smooth — it’s about durability, longevity, and getting the right base for decorating.

Poor plastering can lead to:

• Cracks appearing after a few months
• Uneven surfaces showing through paint
• Damp issues if not treated correctly

A skilled plasterer ensures your walls are:

• Perfectly smooth and level
• Properly prepared and sealed
• Built to last for years

Our Plastering Services in Torquay & Torbay

We cover all aspects of internal plastering across South Devon, including:

• Full room skimming
• Patch repairs and crack fixing
• Ceiling re-skims and overboarding
• Bonding and float & set work
• Preparation for painting and decorating

Whether it’s a small repair or a full house renovation, we approach every job with the same attention to detail.

Skimming vs Replastering – What Do You Need?

A common question we get is whether a wall can be skimmed or needs full replastering.

Skimming is ideal when:

• The existing plaster is sound
• You want to freshen up walls before decorating
• There are minor imperfections

Replastering is needed when:

• The wall is blown or damaged
• There are deep cracks
• Damp has affected the surface

We always assess properly and recommend the best long-term solution — not just the quickest fix.

How Much Does Plastering Cost in Torquay?

Prices can vary depending on the size of the job, condition of the walls, and access.

Typical factors that affect cost:

• Room size and ceiling height
• Amount of prep work needed
• Condition of existing plaster
• Whether ceilings need overboarding

We provide clear, honest quotes with no hidden extras.
